These services are based on a comprehensive analysis of the profitability of the target entity reflecting the underlying drivers of the development of sales and margins as well as further income and costs, also reflecting exceptional factors such as non-recurring events or transactions, unusually high income or cost items, and giving consideration to relevant accounting policies etc.
Balance sheet analysis, cash flow
Furthermore, analyses of the balance sheet as well as cash flow development of the business form part of the usual scope of work; in this context, an emphasis is placed on matters such as financing and net debt levels, balance sheet treatment of obligations and risks, working capital requirements, timing of cash flows, investment activities (capex).
Business plan
If required, a business plan analysis (e.g. description of key assumptions, extent of integration of business plan) can be performed.

Reporting in accordance with client requirements
The reporting content and scope (e.g. a concise overview of the key aspects and risks of the transaction including a summary of financial data relevant for the determination of the purchase price, or – on the other hand – a long-form report covering the historical and planned business development as well as the balance sheet structure of the target entity) is individually agreed with the client in accordance with requirements.
